What will it cost my company to be an ITSA member?
The breakdown below illustrates the budgeted year 2015 membership costs of approximately $3000. This is in addition to a one-time $1,000 initiation fee. This may vary slightly from year to year. We are working diligently to reduce our meeting costs.
What is the difference between the three levels of ITSA membership?
A Regular member is a job shop or supplier in the thermal spray industry responsible for annual dues and all assessments whether a company representative is in attendance or not. (Exception: Member companies located outside the North American continent do not have to pay a share of the meeting expenses if no one from their company is in attendance.) This membership also includes a Supporting Company membership with the American Welding Society providing five individual AWS memberships.
An Associate member is a consultant, university, or association in the thermal spray industry responsible for annual dues and a meeting assessment only if a representative is in attendance.
A Supporting Society member is an organization with interest in supporting the thermal spray industry. There are no annual dues, but a meeting assessment will be made if a representative is in attendance.
Are any discounts associated with ITSA membership?
At this time, the discounts associated with ITSA membership are the “member” discounts with registration for the FABTECH Thermal Spray Conference. There are significant SPRAYTIME advertising discounts. Additionally, many member companies offer discounts to fellow member companies.
How far does the “company” membership extend?
Our association is a “company” membership. Employees of company members are also considered ITSA members.
How many company representatives can attend the ITSA Annual Meeting?
Each member company will have a meeting attendance cap of 6 people. Member companies will be invoiced for meals of additional attendees (more than 6) and these additional meal expenses will not be included in the total meeting expenses.
